House Pride Day

Soooooo, today was house pride day in the A∆X house and that comes with a lot of messes followed by a lot of improvements. With all of the A∆X girls pulling there weight so many things can happen. For all you alumni and sisters who were absent (that we missed terribly) there are going to be some new things to see. So when you return to your home/alma mater you will see two new features that the hardcore sisters of yours tackled.

Also our resident president in pain Fendi, who despite being on pain killers picked up a sander to join in the restoration of our beloved countertop found a way to further hurt herself. (See picture below.)

Future rushies we are so excited for you. Look at the lengths we will go to impress you!!! Everyone come by and see the house in its new clean state (in a couple of days when this is all finished) you won't even recognize it. The video below sums up the spirt of the project! Enjoy

Summer is in full swing here at the ADX house. The new residents of this GLORIOUS place have really made summer fun. However, I can't seem to stop mourning the relocation of one of my favorite neighbors PhiKap. With their street brawls, ragers and the way their letters were always changing how could we not be sad seeing them go. I mean who is left to laser from the windows of Graceland, it is a sad thought. I will miss these guys a lot more then they will ever know. Bye PhiKap.

In other news, if you did not know already Jazz and I are the new residents of Graceland. With living in the house comes lots of crazy stories but one of the craziest has to be the story of the traveling pants. These pants made their first appearance in my life when they where just chilling on my side of the room one day. I saw them and noticed that they were clearly not mine so I tossed them over to Jazz's side of the room. Later she saw the pants and exclaimed "these aren't my filthy pants!" So I put them in the mail room thinking someone would claim them as their own. However the next day they were back in our room and we didn't put them there. So if you are missing a pair of pants come claim them and I think all the Alpha Betas should try them on because they might just be magical.

Lastly, if this applies to you, you will know. All i can say is that some people think that cottage cheese is so discusting that containers of it should only be used to hold paint. Yuck.

P.s. This is a shout-out to my roommate who is in Vacaville, why I am not quite sure but I have scientists trying to figure that out. Come back soon and bring some crazy back to ADX!!!

So not that I intend to talk about a pledge sister every time I post on this glorious blog but a certain Chula resident made a visit to ADX Wednesday night and she brought what I hope will be the newest ADChi obsession.

Also in move-in news there is a new resident to ADX. He is small, green, and chatty. Jimmy cricket has broken his new room the left fridge in the living room in, but some of my sisters have received him as a creature of God and others have not. One person not that I am going to name names (Dior) has taken a certain distaste to her neighbor.

Somebody really needs to talk to her about her anger issues. Jimmy just wanted some Christian fellowship and all he has recieved is hate crimes against him.

Move in week is in full swing the house is in shambles and everyone is a little crazy from the fumes. What comes of ADChi girls that don't want to paint and organize, pure unadulterated craziness. But the highlight of my week so far has been seeing one of my pledge sisters who unfortunately does not live in the house (but is a short walk away). Today she gave the house a little visit and after my overwhelming joy came laughter. I am not going to say anything else until every reader can see what i saw...

Okay suppress your laughter this sleepy sister visited Shamu today with the family and received a severe burn. She look like a raccoon. Every girl that entered the room made a unique comment to this hot sister. All that is left to be said is ... Dear pledge sister you are white the sun is your enemy and prepare your heart and mind for the merciless teasing you will receive from me and the rest of your sisters in Christ. Entertainment.

They may not be pledges anymore but the Alpha Beta's have not ceased to entertain. Since they've gotten their letters, they have happily invade the ADX house to delight in their new active powers, and ability to socialize. Perhaps it's the lack of sleep, the caffeine induced giggle fits, the sugar spike, or it just could be the fact that they're simply themselves. Regardless, I have high hopes that these beautiful Junior actives will fit in perfectly. After spending one long(very long),sleepless night exchanging stories with them, I have determined that Disco will have a strong candidacy for the Gourd award.
